Nail Diary #1

Hello my name is Catherine I am a Newbie to Nail art so my Nail art is not as good as the popular celebrity nail bloggers lol. I just have a passion with nail polish and I would like to share it with everyone. I began to get interested in Nail art in August 2012, no specific date because I forgot. The reason I began to become interested was because for Prom I got some pretty looking Acrylic Gel nails. After a month or so I took them off and  my nails were very brittle, had ridges ,and were U-G-L-Y!! I began to look for ways to strengthen my nails and make them look better, after I began to look on Youtube for cute nail designs and stumbled on awesome nail designs created by  cutepolish. She was a big inspiration and creates really easy cute nail tutorials. Later I began to get inspired by Bloggers on Instagram like ChalkboardNails, Prettynailsbymal, Lafemmelulu,Nict_chelly,thenailnetwork,emmaclarem,
fashionpolish,heartnat24,kaitlinferland,kim_ber_ly_,martawarmuz,lucysstash,mrslochness,pixiedust, and many more that I cannot think about in my head. Instagram has tons of Nail Artists that have wonderful nail ideas and art that any nail enthusiast should check out. Anyways my polish collection has grown to around 40 not much, but for a girl who didn't used to paint her nails, it is quite A LOT! Nail art gave me a hobby, I loved it from the start ! People don't understand how cool I think nail polish is, but then again who understands another person's hobby or addiction. My bf would be like you spend way too much time on painting your nails, my mom says I waste to much money, and my cousin says that I waste it on something I don't need. What I think is that only nail art enthusiasts, bloggers, nail polish lovers, and people who think of nail designs as a type of Art know what I am thinking and why I love it. This mini blog is going to be my nail diary and I would be shocked if anyone actually reads this blog! To whoever comes across it enjoy!
